I bought a Hissatsu from a fellow forumite and the tensioning device built into the sheath was not functioning properly. I made a call to their 800 number, explained my situation, and was promptly sent not 1 but 2 new sheaths for this knife! They're going to come out with a 2nd generation knife and, with the kind of service they provide, I'll be first in line! http://www.ancientedge.com/1.html

Don't you think it's over price?

Man, you'd have to hold one in your hand to really appreciate it!!!! It's as bad as an edged weapon needs to be!

VERY WELL MADE, extremely sharp, very nice heft to it and a hand filling handle. The grinds are complicated and many; a lot of thought went into this knife!
They haven't sold any on the open market for almost two years as the knives are going to SPEC-OPS groups. They had to send someone to a warehouse to find an extra sheath(s) for me and that's exceptional service in my books since I was the third owner! If you ever get a chance to check one out you'll really like it if this style of blade interests you.......

Yeah, I checked out their website and it's a pretty sweet looking knife. At their Military/LE price, I think it's a good value given size, materials, and design. For the $300 they charge us civilians, there may be better buys out there.
