For sale is a beautiful Ancon Sea Shadow. This particular watch features a steel case with a gun metal bezel and a brown California dial. The Sea Shadow packs a Miyota 8215 Automatic movement, 3.5mm thick sapphire crystal, and an Italian leather Strap.
This particular watch sold out in hours as it features a next to impossible to find PVD coated Bezel, which fits the watch perfectly. It also features two of the most beautiful guards that you will ever see that unlike most watches are actually screwed into the case, rather than a part of the case itself making for incredible strength, crown protection, and an overall ascetically pleasing look.
The face of the dial is a stunning dark chocolate brown that when combined with the cream color lume gives the watch and incredible and distinctive look of watches 4 to 5 times its price. The Sea Shadow has one of the nicest leather straps that I have ever come across, it is made of Italian leather and the 24mm leather strap has a rugged look that works perfectly with the watch. Contrasting the deep leather browns of the leather is a cream stitching done with a very heavy thread for years of heavy use and an overall beautiful look. Lastly, it is fitted with a heavy duty buckle made of brushed steel with the Ancon logo tastefully added just to give it that perfect look.
On the wrist the watch looks fantastic. There is a lack of unnecessary texts, logos, depth ratings, etc. to give it a fresh clean look that is sure to get noticed, and also adds to an ease of readability.
I would rate this watch at a solid 98% as the bezel, dial, crystal, and leather strap are all flawless with there only being the smallest of marks on the reverse of one of the guards (which is shown in the last picture) and some extremely fine lines on the reverse of the case.
Overall, a beautiful piece that clearly can be mentioned with watches costing many times it's price and a piece that is sure to get complimented and noticed by all.
