Ok... it's technically my second knife, but it is my first COMPLETED knife!

Here it is:
<center><img src=http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=33630&a=208307&p=22019260&Sequence=0></center>

Named The Texas Tanto in honor of my home state of Texas. Originally thought out and designed to be a backup Ti blade that you could carry in hot, nasty, climates and not have rust to pieces on you or weigh you down.

1/8" 6AL4V Titanium stock. 7.25" OAL. A bear to make! (But fun!)

This one is Sabre ground and has a Scotchbrite pad finish.

The "thumb ramp" has some gripping serrations.

The sheath is kydex and has no metal parts.

More are coming, e-mail me if you want one of these!

"Thank you's!" go out to Dave for helping me realize that I can draw a little bit, Tom Mayo for his sage advice, Newt Livesay for making the Woo neck knife that was the ulitimate inspiration for my getting interested in attempting to make a knife of my own, and the rest of you that I forget since it's nearly 3:15 in the AM here!

Pretty cool Joel. I'd be lucky if my first one looked that good. Nice sheath (concealex ?) and touch on the thumb rest too.

Thanks for the feedback!

If you like that one, wait until I post my next design. Double edge this time!

I've learned a little about grinding and things are going and looking better.
