I just received my first Busse knife. I had recently ordered a Cold Steel Kukri when I seen Busse had the Fusion Battle Mistress for sale. I promptly placed my order and returned the kukri. I am very impressed with the Busse. This thing is a beast compared to the small light fighters I am used to. I am sure this is the first of many as I am already looking for what my next Busse will be.

Probly not the best place to ask for help about your new addiction no matter what Will might tell you though
 
Yes, welcome. We all were once young and innocent. I still remember opening my first. A somewhat well used Skinny ASH1. All fixed blades previously owned faded into the "almost a knife" category. Cannot tell you how many Bussekin I currently possess, lest you contact my city's Insane Asylum. But I will let on that the first ASH1 has been joined by thirteen others. And the spending of big bucks on knives gets easier with time. Pretty soon, a thousand dollar original SH1 will be purchased as nonchalantly as a hamburger. Good luck with your fun Busse adventure. We really only get addicted to what we allow.
 
I actually paid $950 for it, Will. Someone on the 'bay did not realize what they had. Yes, I have also missed some killer deals. If I could only monitor several different knife selling sites 25 hours per day. I would have less of an offline life than I do now. I once actually convinced someone here that I had special software built into my machine that would sound an alarm whenever an ASH1 came up for sale. What a hoot.

It's a great time to be getting into Busses. The FMV14 coming out this Wednesday is quite extraordinary.

And it's been a buyer's aftermarket for a while now, and there's lots of different stuff for sale on the Exchange at relatively low prices.
 
Welcome....I will 2nd what JTT said above^^^^:thumbsup: Great time to get your addiction rolling...I would suggest watching the Exchange if you intend to build a collection of Busse Knives. The time is right with all the knives released in the last 2 years of Operation 2 Weeks(where the Bossman is coming up with some great new designs:)) The FBM is a well proven design and should be in every Busse collection (at least one... of every release and color combo:eek:I've said to much) Welcome and Enjoy:cool::cool::cool::cool::thumbsup:

Although, I prefer my FBM with a little NM.
 
Yes Leonardo. A great investment. I know more about the value of Bussekin I purchase, than the various companies who’s stock I buy.

The FMV is coming out Thursday, the nuke options will be announced wednesday at midnight I believe.

There are quite a few hogs spread throughout PA. Mind sharing where you're located? I'm from Pittsburgh, but have been in the Philadelphia/NJ area for the past 4 years.
