And so it begins...

Sorry to hear this Yvsa. I wish you and the other survivors well. I also know the pain of losing a loved one to cancer.

The Star Journey awaits us all.
Damn Cancer just the same.
She leaves behind love & friends and that is a great blessing. Rest in Peace. Smoke and Prayer from the Tidelands.

Prayers for Etta and your family, Yvsa

Smoke and prayers for Etta Sue and her immediate family, and for the pain you and your family are experiencing old friend.

Norm

Thanks for all the Smoke and Prayers my friends! As always they're very much appreciated!!!

I titled this thread, "And so it begins..." and then when I was doing the initial post lost sight of where I originally wanted to go with it...:o
What I really intended was when the first person of a generation walked west it usually wasn't to terribly long before the next one follows after them...
I told Sue not all that long ago that I oughta leave out before she did and she kindly reminded me that wasn't always the way things worked out. And although I know that it's true it still doesn't mean I hav'ta like it!!! :(
I also told Sue that it wasn't right for her to leave this plane and start her Star Journey before me but then the little Runt never was any good at paying attention to me, damn stubborn little ndn!!! ;)

There are several of us in the 65 to 75 range in many degrees of health and sadly most of us haven't been all together in six months of Sundays or longer!!! :o :(
We need to have a family reunion but Sue has been the instigator of them for years, maybe one of her granddaughters would be willing to take the job over now...

Man, you're spot on.

Our HR lady in work had her mother die last spring. No more than a month later, her brother died. Just a few weeks ago, her aunt died. She's the last of the family, and she's single with no family of her own. I don't know how long she'll hang on.

tonight at my fire pit i will send smoke from sage and cedar and four directions - the circle will be open; but never broken- good thoughts and prayers for her and the family you mentioned .

may she always know how much she is loved by you and the rest of the family.

Sorry to hear this bro. Smoke up from here.

Thanks to all!!! Sue's gonna be missed by all who loves her because she loved everyone the exact same way...
