  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

And so it begins...

Its not like I'm never going to be on, who knows, I might just have to thumb post from my phone at practice:D

Just lettin' ya'll know that I ain't given up on this place, and that I appreciate all you screwballs.

I just pulled a 3 day drunk and built a rifle while I was in the sauce too. After seeing how it turned out, I might have to do all my builds tanked. :D

Good looking rifle. What scope did you go with?

Nice rifle. What are the specs?

Ruger 10/22 reciever, Green Mountain barrel 18" .920, Hogue Stock, BSA Sweet 22 6-18x40AO scope, Weaver Tac Rings, Leupold base, Harris bipod (made in Barlow, no shit), and a match trigger that I did myself. Breaks at 3lbs crisp, no overtravel.

Mmmm..sweetness. Nylon bolt buffer? It goes from clak to just a solid thump.

Haven't changed anything in the guts yet. How well does it wear?

I was going to get a Timney trigger group for it, but the damn things are hard to find. Saw one at the gun show, for $210. Whoever paid that much for it, was a impulse shopping dude, for sure.

Cut off a 1/4 inch nylon bolt from Home Depot, tap out the steel one and tap in the nylon. You can rotate it or replace it after a few thousand rounds. Two bucks. Mine's been in three years and had a few bricks through it.

Good luck with the scheduling brother. We all know how it goes! Since I went back to school, my post count went in the crapper! We do what we have to do....
