Hi BCCL,

What are your thoughts on the odd looking grip (will it stay put when wet)? Also can you post a photo of it with an Alpha folder and an 889 Strider folder if you have them.
Thanks

I just doused the knife and my hand in water to test it, and had no trouble hanging onto it.

I don't currently own either of those other knives anymore, but I'd say that this one is bulkier and heavier than either of those.

Between the blade and the frame and liner, there is a LOT of steel in this hulk!

BCCL Just out of curiosity do you plan to clip carry or sheath? I your opinion do you think clip carry inside pocket is practical on a knife of that size?

Nice knife BCCL! That is my next knife purchase. I can't wait.

The more and more I see these, I think it will be my next as well!

I have an alpha folder, why dont you send your Buck/Tops to me and I'll post some pics :D

The alpha folder is one of my fav. models, and I really liked the handle of the Besh wedge model, I think this Tops knife may be the best of both worlds?

It looks to me as if this Tops knife is to the Alpha folder, what the Goliath was to the Bucklite style knives....BIG. I do like that tank type of folding knife.

The blade and lock look beefier, but the width of the handle looks a tad slimmer? I like the way they designed this knife! I gotta have one now! Thanks for the pics guys! ;)

The top photo looks like a stylized painting of a tank moving along in a desert. It almost looks like tank armor. A MONSTER!

Sheath, I can't imagine pocket carrying this thing, unless your wearing a belt and suspenders!!! :)

And they said "who is there that can make war with the beast?"

If this was a fish, you wouldnt have to exagerate the length and if it were a whitetail you wouldnt have to lie about the spread. Its all that:thumbup:
