I took the clip off, I carry it in my pocket without using the clip and if the clip is against my leg it digs in badly. I have been carrying in on my belt last 2 days, horizontal yesterday and vertical today. I both cases the velcro strap digs my hip/back/fat roll:p. I would need to carry it on left side so straps are down to avoid it but I am right handed and that would be awkward geting in and out of sheath. I could also tuck my shirt in but that aint hattnin(refer back to fat roll:eek:)

Bear Claw, did you have any of the finish issues pictured here. Both me and Flat had these issues.

Looking at the other thread, the blade thickness is around .175 and to figure out how to compare the thickness look at a 119.

I just looked, and the round hole is fine, but the oval is just like yours.

Even that "line" in the middle.

Probably just what your left with when polishing a place like that??
 
I started to file it down but figgered the heck with it. Thought about hitting it with the dremel but figgered I'd hiccup or something and make a big gouge. One fellow chimed in on a previous Csar thread and said his was 100% no issues. I was interested to see if these things worked out with newer production

Thanks Fritz, I just got that yesterday. It's a special order gun by the New York State Police. They ordered 3000 but only took delivery of 2500. The remaining 500 were sold off to employees or at least that's what I was told.

Its a hammerless Ruger SP101 in stainless with a 2.25inch bbl in 38spl. It was most likely intended for a backup gun. My gun broker bought it from a retired Ruger employee this past weekend. It's NIB.

I really like it. Best DA trigger I've ever tried. It's going to make a nice C.C. piece.

I'll wait until this weekend, and take a picture with my CSAR-T and my new Ruger Mini-14 when it gets here Friday!!!! :)

Funny, I bought a Mini-14 today too. It's pictured over on Fritz's Gun and Blade thread. I've wanted one for a long time and now that the economy is poor its a buyers market down at the gun shop (he's buying low and selling low for a change).
