I just bought a new MKT Praetorian G. I know there are a lot of haters out there but I love this knife. I am into large overbuilt knives and IMO they are just very well constructed knives. I got the black oxidized D2 blade, woodlands digicam G10 and bead blasted Ti. This is my first knife above the ZT level so this was a huge buy for me. For those of you that have owned one chime in on your loves and or hates I would appreciate hearing your comments, thoughts and stories. Now back to nail biting

GOODNESS... that thing is a beast. I think I only have a handful of fixed blades that weigh 8.2oz. lol

Rock on dude, go with what you like. Looks cool to me.

Got it yesterday. Absolute Beast of a knife. Sharpest edge ive ever got from the factory. The detent is crazy strong. I can open it one handed about 50% of the time. The other 50% im just not able to break the detent. once you overcome the detent it is very smooth but stiff. I watched gregs video showing how to open them and positioning my thumb at the far end of the fuller groove is the only chance i have of breaking the detent. Definitely needs some break in time. its not for everyone thats for sure but im into this style knife right now and it is very impressive. Im in love with it. Quality wise it is perfect.

Awesome. I am really getting into MKT. Watching all the vids on their channel, surfing their website and such. They seem like an awesome company, and Greg looks like one of the coolest guys ever lol. I really want an Arktika but at the moment it's above my pay grade. Post some pics if you can and I hope you have a long nice life with it!

Whoa....that is a chunk of a knife. Looks like it is quite well built. Little hefty looking for what I usually like but for those who like them, should be awesome.

Buy what you like...always.

I've always liked the MKT TFF-3 but haven't been able to justify the cost...yet.

I'd be sincerely interested to know how it carries & if you get any actual utility out of that beast. If it's just a novelty then that's cool too. The Grayman Satu is in the same ballpark. Interesting blades at the least.

I've always admired the Praetorian from afar. It's simply a beautiful knife that I consider a work of art. If it was just a matter of being practical, many of us wouldn't own half the knives we do. You had a passion and fell in love. Congratulations.

Personally not my kind of knife, I'm not into the large overbuilt knives but I can certainly appreciate the fit/finish and craftsmanship that knife displays. If you are happy, then I'm happy.

I'm curious if that glass breaker is gonna snag stuff or cut you since it's going to be sticking up out of your pocket. Or if you pocket carry it, it might rip up your inside pockets.

Yeah it's a big decision to 1) get an over build knife like this and 2) for this kind of money. I know I was on the fence about it, knew what I wanted but it was a matter of finding one available with close to the right config & price or just order one exactly how I wanted it and wait the 30'some odd weeks for delivery.

Wow...I have an 8.1 oz folder. You got me beat at 8.2!

That is a beautiful beast. Enjoy it in many ways. (And thanks for the pics!)

Congratulations and thanks for the pix!!!!

I've got a T on order and am impatiently waiting...

Nailbiting? Meh, order yourself a Randall someday...

Nice looking pocket brick...

This is going to be my next purchase. I am a tiny bit jealous right now. Can you post a few more pics? I have a folder that weighs in at 7.5 so this is just right!
