And The Waiting Begins

Looks like a nice knife. Yes it's large, but who cares. I always believed collect what you like and want. It is nobody's business but your own.

For me it carries fine but I seem to be the minority when it comes not caring much about big size and weight. I just dont see much difference between a 3oz knife and an 8oz knife. I still have to give my leg a tap once In a while to make sure its still there. I do use it it is not just a novelty to me. It is breaking in nice already. I rode shotgun on a long car ride today and open and closed it a couple hundred times or more. I can almost roll it open with just my thumb from the bottom of the blade. I havent noticed any issues with the breaker being in the way and it is not sharp. I will post more pics tomorrow

My wife is taking more interest in the Praetorian series. I'm trying to talk her into a Micro but she's insisting on a Ti. She believes in go big or go home............. So my search is on. I'd just order one but waiting on one knife is bad enough so I'll see what I come up with that comes along for sale.

check that big auction site. you can find the new for retail on there all the time. thats where i got mine and paid retail. there are authorized dealers that list there

I've been watching that too. It all seems to go in a cycle from the same ones posted that are just flat out over priced due to supply & demand and then there's the handful that show up at retail. I was eyeing those up and considered a Micro Praetorian.

My hang up is I wanted certain things / details and finishes that are only happening when ordering direct and waiting :( I ordered a G with black G10, drop point D2 blade with Vulcan finish and flame treated fasteners & hard wear. Quite specific I guess lol.

Luckily I saw one I liked on there. Its either get exactly what you want in 8 months or sacrifice a litle to have it now

That knife is absolutely mind-blowing! I'd love to have one for sure, but probably don't want to see the price tag.

Really appreciate the info, pics and vid. Did chuckle a little at watching you struggle a bit with opening it. Bet it takes some getting used to :)

Yes very difficult to open for the first few hundred openings. Has loosened up alot but is still not easy yet. It will get there. Medford strongly suggests or should I say insists that no lube it to used on the knife, period. Little oil on the steel to prevent rust and that is it. No lube at all on the pivot, detent or anywhere else
