...in Number 3 Bagshot Row. Samwise is in the middle of a few good deep mugs of the beer Bilbo gave him back in September. He is happily contemplating Rose Cotton, as he cooks the brace of coneys he slew with stones on his way home across the fields from her family's farm. He is obviously going to be stewing them the right way at home, of course. I think we can safely assume, seeing as how she bore him a record 13 children, that our young master Samwise likely contemplated Rosie quite often
