I just got my second Spyderco this afternoon. I went with the Delica 4 in British Racing Green, with the Plain Edge ZDP 189. What can I say, I like everything about this knife from the tight lockup to the way it feels in my hand and I have high hopes for the ZDP 189 blade.

My first Spyderco was a native from Wal-Mart that has also been impressive. As a hard-core Benchmade fan I now find myself confused.

What until you handle a nice high end model, like a Manix or Carbon Fiber Military. You won't be confused for long. ;)

Scott,
congratulations on your new knives.
Native was my first Spyderco also I had at that time BM Grip 551 and Presidio and was impressed with Native, it was sharp and fit to my hand so well. Than I bought Ares and little Kopa, than I sold Grip and Presideo and bought about 20 Spydercos (ZDP Delica among them) mostly for myself. My wife and my father-in-law got Spydercos as well.
Do not worry about your confusion, just get Caly3 and it will go away.

My EDC is a Delica 4 in British Racing Green, with the Plain Edge ZDP 189
I own all kinds an makes of knives, but I choose to carry this one.
It's light enough and tough enough and looks cool too. I consider it the Glock of knives. It has cutting edge state of the art steele, and frn (polymer) handle similar to a Glock or HK postol.Perfect for EDC!!!!!!!!!

I have my racing green zdp delica in a k and k custom neck sheath every day its perfect, absolutely perfect.

Congrats on your new purchase!
I think any delica is an excellent knife... but ZDP is the definitely the high-end.
My money says you've got at least 3-4 more Spydies that you'll end up buying in the next 6 months.

I’m already looking at the Caly3 and Manix, and a few of the others have caugt my eye. How difficult is the ZDP to sharpen on the Sharp Maker? I have noticed that it takes some time sharpening some of my better quality blades.
