I think both Ethan and Tooj have memberships that accept PM's.
Seriously though, as cool as I think a folder would be, I don't think that you're going about "submitting" it properly. If Ethan and/or Tooj acknowledge this design you have here, and a few months later they release a folder of their own design that may have been in the works for months prior to your posting of this, or perhaps not actually patented or trademarked (or whatever the hell they do) with a date that succeeds your first design post, what is to stop you from saying "Hey, that was MY idea and they stole it?" After all, you aren't really donating this design to KA-BAR, are you? I have no doubt that the idea of a folder has come up during talks of future knife designs. How could it not? Hell, they probably have also THOUGHT about a sword, a saw, a chainsaw and a pool skimmer... not to mention a line of Becker Cookware all featuring the distinctive handle design.
I'm no big city lawyer, but I'm guessing dollars to donuts that if they comment on this design, it sets them or you up for a fairly litigious situation. KA-BAR does not seem to have solicited any design requests form the public, and I'm guessing that no NDA has been signed between you and them. You need those kinds of things for a deal like this, right?
I think I'm coming off as a major douche here and I apologize for that sincerely, but my point is, don't expect a comment from them on something that wasn't solicited by them to begin with. If you are serious about your designs, I would contact KA-BAR directly.
The folder design is very cool. I totally dig it.
