Don, his work is remarkable!! Thanks for the great pics. Can I borrow some money?jk. Will you add to the collection? I picked up some Hartsfield's in the 80's. That's my collection. Happy Holidays!

I just love his stuff. I've wanted to snag one of those cool little daggers to put in a display box on my desk for some time. Thanks for the look at these, Don.

love those nordic style sheaths (the one in the centre). what is that type of stitching called?

Great Stuff. I love the mammoth of the big one.

How does he get that double hamon Don?

Stephen, it's walrus ivory on these, but it does look nice, doesn't it? :)

He gets the double hamon, by doing an interrupted quench. Into the quenchant for a couple seconds, out for a couple, then back in. Anders and Scott Slobodian are probably the best at this type of hamon.

Anders and I are good friends and trade pics of our latest work every couple months or so.

those are fabulous Don. I have a nice dagger that I was able to pickup a couple years ago around this time. Had a small dagger before but sold it to another forumite. That first piece is just outstanding.

Excellent pics - as you know, I am a Hogstrom fan as well:D

Don, you should post pics of the collaboration knife the 2 of you did - that was spectacular!!!!!

Love the first one...oh hell, I love them all. But the first one is nice.

I too, love the handles...what a great effect. How does he get them so translucent?

Every time I handle his knives (at the Paris show) I'm impressed by every aspect: design, workmanship, materials.
He's a nice guy too, always taking the time to chat a bit. :)

Anders has an unmistakable style which gets more and more refined. Really one to watch. His scabbards are JUST as impressive. :D

We've spent a bunch of private emails discussing photography. He wants to be able to do it all, and I am happy to help him. Exhibit 'A', above.

Thanks, Don.
