Anders Hogstrom

What a treat to see these. Absolutely stunning!
David

(naming the knife "Undertaker" sounds like a half-a-pound of cheese to me.) , .."Roxanne" sounds better.

All his knives are different than the norm. Sometimes that is a good thing or a bad thing, but in his case, every time I see one of his knives its refreshing, plain and simple. Some styles i like more than others, but each one has a unique style and flair to it. I think people with good skills who differ from the norm are just as valuable to the knifemaking community as those who produce ABS style bowies with the "normal" shape, design, handle and fittings that I sometimes grow weary of seeing, regardless of how spectacular each one might be in its own right.

I think we can add 'unique style and flair' to the Kasbah! Anders' Nordic/Japanese style really brings out a new look in a sub-hilt fighter! Really an awesome knife, Riad. Unreal piece of walrus with Anders' superb design and workmanship in the handle. That blade means nothing but business.

Nice to have a few threads showing up with actual knives included once more. Thanks for staring this one, Keith. Here is a rare damascus piece forged by Anders, off of his website, that I would love to own.
