I just saw some of his knives on Knife Art web site and looked at his web site. I really like the looks of his knives but wanted to see if anyone had one and what they thought of it.

I've got a stretched double ground mirror polished green anodised Operator with olive wood handles on the way from Andre...he's super nice to talk to and will listen to your knifey desires.

Do a search here and you'll find a sweet all damascus jobbie Steve had made for him.

I recently got a Pathfinder and it's a quality knife. Now I'm looking for a button lock Pathfinder.

I purchased a like new button lock Pathfinder from a fellow forumite. I had never owned one of Andre's knives prior to that but I had been frequently visiting pics of his knives on his and various other websites. I received the knife and was very pleased with the feel, the action and the tight all screw construction. I was able to break it down, clean it and put it back together very easily.

The extra touches that Andre puts on most of his models, like the Anodized and Jewelled Titanium liners, really add a touch of class to an otherwise rugged looking knife. My Pathfinder is now my daily carry. I also have plans to Order another knife directly from Andre.

I would recommend one of Andre's knives for anyone looking for a larger, rugged custom folder!

What I like about the knife is that the blade looks almost larger than the handle. The only thing I would change about the knife is the slotted screws. I would much rather have allens or splines. But, I think this is part of his style and they remain as is

He had some VERY nice smaller knives at the Atlanta show last year. Damascus blades, fancy filework etc.

Could someone post a hyperlink to his website or at least give the info out?
Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving,
David

Very interesting maker, didn´t know him before.
Does anyone have experiences with his Japanese-style swords?
Thanks!

Jeff, Thanks for the link! Dav, I have a button lock Pathfinder on the way. We've got to get together and compare knife collections. I'll meet you halfway. How about Hawaii?

LOL, I told Andre to expect a call from you!

Hawaii would be fine, except for the fact that holes seem to develop in the handles of knives there. Might just have to meet up in, say, Atlanta, some time around, say, June!
