Hey guys,
I'm offering up one of the most brilliantly detailed knives I have owned. The A3 is a collaboration between two of South Africa's most ingenious custom knife makers. The result is a knife that is so visually appealing, it will turn non-knife people into believers. I've seen it!
The blade is 3.75" of M390 and has hand-rubbed grinds and polished flats. Unreal texturing in the blade alone.
Black G10 scales with vibrant orange G10 accents. Perfect balance of subtlety and flamboyance. Anodized sky blue liners are sandwiched between the scales and a G10 back spacer. The pocket clip has perfect retention and is also made of G10. Closed length is about 4.65".
The flipper tab, once again, is perfected. The jimping feels like 220 grit sandpaper and makes deployment truly pleasing. The flipping action? Arguably the best there is. On par with Shirogorov but uses multi row IKBS instead of roller or caged bearings. Lightswitch, push button, lazy, doesn't matter; the blade deploys flawlessly any way you choose.
There is some evidence of ownership as the knife has been sharpened. The angle seems factory and it is done nicely. The heel was nicked slightly however. Centering is a tad bit to the right, but far from contacting the liner. Also, there are identical marks on both sides of the blade where it looks like the knife was clamped to a sharpening rig possibly. Other than those minor things, the knife is impeccable and will astonish your eyeballs for certain.
Comes with an Ace Case.
Asking SOLD SOLD SOLD. I cover all fees and shipping costs.
Trade interests: Firstly, anything by Jesse Jarosz. I made the mistake of trading off my K-2A and have regretted it since. Also, a Regular Sebenza of a Large CF Inlaid Insingo or a Mnandi. Feel free to send other offers but I'm feeling picky on this one. Cash can flow either direction, although I'd much rather trade evenly or down.
Knife is 1 of 10 in the world. It's just too large for my skinny jeans....................jokes.
New members or those with little or no feedback/experience may be asked to ship first.
USA deals only.
