Hey guys, new to the forum. Have a mint condition never carried or sharpened Andre Thorburn custom flipper. Micarta handles, engraved bolsters, bearing system opening, upgraded steel for edge retention, titanium bolsters. A real beauty. It's currently on ebay if you wanna see pics, and if you make me a serious offer or want to buy, I'll end the auction early.

As for the price, I am personally invested over a thousand dollars in having this knife built to the specs Andre and I agreed on. I've kept our emails discussing price and his cost for engraving and steel upgrades. So I'm not trying to pull one over on anyone. The $1500 is the Buy it Now Price on ebay, for anyone who doesn't wanna wait for months like I did to get a minty one. However, it IS NOT THE ONLY PRICE I WILL TAKE. I'm sorry for the confusion, I thought putting "any reasonable offer considered" would explain that. That being said, I will just say asking price is what I paid for it, or make offer. Hope this seems fair, it's the best I can do.
This is not a standard Andre flipper you see on his table at shows or online or i would have bought it that way. I've been to knife shows and handled his knives. This was "built" to order using different steel and scale materials. I've also looked at online shops that carry his work and never seen this knife, which is why I commissioned him to build it to these specs. Please understand this is not a "have one on the shelf ready to ship" knife. It was built to order. So while you may see Thorburn's out there, you may not see one like this. Its gorgeous and won't disappoint. Cheers!
