For sale:
An Andre Thorburn L19 Front Flipper w/IKBS. I'm typically a bit verbose in my listings, but I'll keep this one short - the knife is nearly perfect in every way: presentation grade ironwood handles with deeply hued, intense grain structure, damascus by Damasteel, and bolsters engraved by renowned engraver Julien Marchal (all in pristine condition). The knife has been sharpened to a very sharp convex edge. Given Mr. Thorburn's "tactical" turn, these sorts of pieces are becoming more rare.
As one would expect, action is very smooth and lock-up is rock-solid.
Blade length: 3.25 inches
Total length: 7.25 inches
Weight: 2.8 oz.
Comes with a fleece-lined protective pouch and certificate of authenticity with details about the knife from the dealer from whom I bought it - this also includes a signature by Mr. Thorburn himself which I got during a visit he made to the Seattle area late this Summer.
Price is $795 flat (Paypal only - marked as "goods") I'll take care of shipping via first class (CONUS only) and appropriate insurance.
Mark the threat with "I'll take it" and send email or PM for payment information. Please pay promptly once such information is received. I reserve the right to refuse sale based on egregious feedback or delay in payment.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about the knife fowlerds@gmail.com
**All sales are final unless otherwise discussed**
Buyer acknowledges that they are at least 18 years of age and that the knife is in compliance with laws in their area - thus assuming all liability.
