For sale:

An Andre Thorburn L50 Flipper with IKBS - a ball-bearing system that creates an EXTREMELY fluid blade deployment (a system Thorburn has nearly perfected). I have owned, and own, many Thorburns, and this is among the smoothest. The blade is 3.5 inches of N690 steel - with satin finish on the grind and polished flats. The edge has been professionally sharpened to a VERY sharp convex edge (using Japanese water-stones - thus removing a minimum of material). The handles and bolsters are both polished G-10. The knife has a titanium pocket clip, anodized titanium liners and lock-bar, and anodized titanium file-work on the back of the knife. Ergonomics are excellent with very secure jimping on the thumb-ramp and with the flipper acting as a finger guard. It is a utilitarian, yet beautiful, and very sturdy example of Mr. Thorburn's work. I sell the knife ONLY because my tastes are changing to smaller, more traditional styles. The knife is in truly excellent shape.

Comes with a Cordura, fleece lined, protective pouch.

**Please pardon some of the pictures - they do not do the knife justice. There might appear to be a "spot" on the blade or handle, but this is, in fact, merely a spot on my camera. The knife itself is really quite flawless.

Price is SOLD net to me (Paypal only please - so add 3% and send as "goods"). I will take care of shipping (CONUS only) via first class mail and appropriate insurance. First class typically gets to you in 3 mailing days.

No trades thank you.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have - PM or email at:fowlerds@gmail.com

Post "I'll take it" in the thread if you'd like to purchase and send me a PM or email so I can provide payment information. Please be prompt in your payment once you've committed to "take it".

short video showing ease of deployment:

Hi , can you show a good picture of the blade to show it's centering? I'd like to know if there is any movement in any direction once the knife is locked up ?
I'd also have an unusual request, because I'd like to buy this knife. I'll email you. thx

email was just sent. thx. BEAR with me please:)

There is no blade play in any direction - centering, as seen in the picture and video, is dead center. Easy of deployment is VERY smooth, as seen in video. There is very little effort needed to deploy the blade - with no need for help via "flicking" the wrist.

Thanks for the questions.
