Up for sale today is one of the best looking knives in my collection...I have come to terms with the fact that I'm not going to carry it (it's a smidge too big for my taste and I'd also hate to mess it up).
I am not sure how many others were made in this exact configuration by Andre, but it's the only one I've seen like it...and I know I'm going to regret letting it go as it won't be easily replaced. The gorgeous blue anodized Ti bolsters have an orange peel finish and take on a purple hue when handled, and are a perfect contrast to the carbon fiber scales. Everything about the fit and finish of this knife is impeccable, typical Thorburn. Scalloped Ti backspacer with thin red highlights. Bohler N690 3 1/4" blade, perfectly centered with no play whatsoever. This knife has some heft to it it's extremely solid. Flips like you would expect from an IKBS Thorburn, butter smooth and fast. Will include a soft velcro pouch.
