Andrew Demko Custom AD10, Just a few Art Photos

ive had mine for about two weeks, by far its my new favorite. i can not imagine a more robust, tougher folder, short of andrew simply making a bigger badder one!

Thanks Ankerson. Half an inch thick liners would have been serious overkill. :D

Yeah it was a type O. :D

Glad you caught it. :)

It's thick enough the way it is IMO, that's why I had Andrew thin it out some spec wise when we were talking when I ordered it.

OK here are the ones I promised of mine for interest's sake. I added a little southern flavour. :D

Jim,

What is the hole in the finger guard there for?

Bill

You can make a Pin to fit in there if you wanted to.

Andrew said it matches his FB vers of the knife, that's why the hole is there.

Matching the FB I understand. If you put a pin in there, wouldn't it lock the knife either open or closed? Two short pins? It is a gorgeous knife, BTW.

Beautiful knife and edge - I'm not really a folder person, but I am starting to think that perhaps I should start with one of these ...

Hard to believe my name is coming uo in the rotation - time flies. Approx. 2 months ETA. I got a Ti backspacer, otherwise the same as Ankerson's. :D

When I build prototypes for LT to take new models on safari he and his guides test them very very hard. The last thing I want is the guy who signs my checks to cut off his fingers. So I add a pin hole on these test pieces, when the blade is open insert pin. On the AD-10 I added the pin hole but for looks only, I'm not sure it there is a pin that even fits the hole size, the safari folders use standard .187" pin.
