Back on 8 June was a posting on Knifemakers Knives for sale for a 01 Hunter prototype, made by Andrew Finnie of Boise, ID. I contact Andrew, easy to deal with, kept me informed and promptly sent the knife, which was well packed and insured. Andrew described the knife as O1, with brown Micarta handle, what he did not say was the blade had a distal taper, and a tapered tang too, crisp grind lines and the the sheath just about snapped when the knife was inserted. Very impressive work for his first sale. John
