pretty face....amazing how fast 15 year olds heal. He is feeling very sore and grumpy today. Thats ok. Im glad he is alive..

I took this pic yesterday...the day before his eye was still swollen shut.

It must be pretty hard for you. Thank God it wasn't worse. He'll be back in top form soon, I'm sure. :thumbup:
 
It is amazing how fast you can go from critical care to moving around. Glad he is going to be ok.
 
He looks pretty good for kid who just took a header into a car Ren, can he eat any food or does he just have to drink liquids right now?
 
Looks pretty decent. From your description of events in the other threads, I was expecting much worse. Is there any damage to the eye, other than being a bit banged up? Hope not.

Anyways, I expect it'll be pretty fair sailing from here on. Kids tend to heal amazingly well.

kids do heal faster than adults.
these things can be tough on the family, it's never easy when one of your own children get hurt.
i hope things will get better for your son and your family from here on.
 
Thank God he is alive!! That is some picture. Poor kiddo. I too am happy that he is up and around.

He has a fractured jaw and alevials and a fractured pallet. His Jaw is wired shut for minimum of four weeks. He is on a liquid diet. and for a kid who loves to eat he is totally bummed..

I just (slowly) realized, were you in Indiana riding when this happened or were planning to be in Indiana?
So glad he's gonna be back to health soon.
 
Just watch out WHAT liquids get into his diet! :D
(Hmmm ... this milkshake tastes LOTS better with rum than with scotch!)

I imagine he would be Ren, maybe he would like the "Cheeseburger shake"...but it is great that he is thinking about food right now he is a pretty tough young guy Ren.
 
Great to see he's up and about. Hope everything heals as it should.

ps. He looks a sailor, getting his pic taken by the MP's, after a bar brawl :D
