With you being on TM its obvious that you should get the best Android you can get, the best hardware device they have is your best bet. Think of it like a PC, dual core processor, kick butt screen and max ram if you can. Most new ones will all use the same android OS and if your techy at all, upgradable to the new versions due to come out soon.
The android OS is a good start, they still have quite a ways to go to catch up to the "network" of the iphone. I have been REALLY thinking about the new Galaxy S2 that is "suppose" to come out soon, been saying this for months now...but to be honest I have an iphone and being jailbroke and everything, Im not sure you can do much better. I keep looking up stuff , or looking up most the same apps I now use on the iphone and its hard to believe that there really is alot missing on the android side. I always heard the ol its so open and you can do what you want with android and iphone is locked down...I have found this to not be true at all and again they have alot to do to get caught up with iphone as a whole. I have until Nov of this year to decide and the Samsung Galaxy S2 is top on my list, but if the iphone 5 is out by then and somewhat stable and still jailbreakable, I will have to really think it over.
Im an IT guy and its in my blood to hate Apple, but every new phone that comes out is 100% compared to the Iphone, that has to tell you something. But I hope android picks it up and takes off as I would move over no question if I can do everything I can do on the iphone and as easy.
