I ordered 6 knives from Andy last October and fully paid for them at his request, it was supposed to be a six week delivery. I allowed him some extra time before contacting him, now all I get if he answers is excuses. Is anybody else having problems with Andy finishing orders ?

Merged multiple threads and moved to the correct section.
The Hall of Shame is reserved for folks that have a long and repeated history of shady and scheming behavior. But, if you need help trying to get a resolution of create a warning about someone that is not being forthright, then Feedback, GBU is the best choice.

I was also involved in this if you see the other thread. Andy Franco made no such threats ie post positive reviews and I will send knives. One day he just contacted me and said they were being shipped

I did chase him nearly every day to get them, the level of communication was laughable. And false promises unbearable. But....he never made threats to not send knives

Andy Franco is a decent hard working guy. He has always been courteous on emails and informative. His knives are top rate...I have my knives and a free one as well. I am thankful it was very frustrating to go through this and I will never order a custom from a maker again always from dealers. He needs to sort out his communication. If he had emailed me back and said I've got this in hand I'm on it or I'm so far behind do you want a refund them we would not of had a problem

Since this happened I have talked with Andy and resolved some issues. If he changes his business model i feel my faith in him may be restored

So, apparently Mr. Franco is a "nice guy". And if you hound him enough you may actually get your knives sometime in the future. Good Luck
 
I sent Andy a message via the forums. Mind you, he has not posted on Bladeforums in just over 2 years. Pretty much all we can do on our end.
