Andy,

First I would like to say congratulations, and good luck with this new venture. I have been interested in a good 'Hawk for quite some time now. Maybe if you are at the ECCKS I can pick one up. Let me know. Thanks.

Louis.....it was GREAT to meet you at the New York Custom Knife Show this past year.

Unfortunatley, we will not be attending the ECCKS....tables at this point are full, with a waiting list for cancellations.

We will be at the Blade Show though.....we hope to have Peter LaGana there in person!!!

I hope you check in and post often.....

Great to hear from you man!!!

Andy,

Thanks for the reply. Meeting you was definately one of the more memorable moments of the show, the pleasure was all mine. For those of you that don't already know, Andy is a real gentleman and one heck of a nice guy.
Andy, are you still doing the "Busse thang" or is your attention now focused on the 'hawks? I can't wait to see some pics. I tried going to your site last night but it said that it did not exist. Good talking with you. You'll see me around

Thanks for your question Louis....Yes, I will continue to own and operate Sharper Instinct, with all of its product lines completely intact. Everything there is working extremely well and remains important to me.

As of this post, there is already a pic of the Rogers' Rangers Spike Hawk up on this forum, with more pics on the way...check it out when you can!!!

I am sorry to learn that you are not planning on participating in the upcoming ECCKS, Andy. Even though exhibitor tables are all booked, there could still be an opportunity for you to show off some of your wares privately at the tables outside of the exhibit hall. Although promoters frown on dealers setting up shop in such a way, there is always a good crowd of BF members at the show & we show off our new toys all the time.

Just food for thought...

...well....I'll tell you what. While the ATC would not set up outside the show, I would be happy to organize a private viewing at a local restaurant where folks could stop in and see some Hawks. ATC's treat. Munchies, beverages, and Hawks would abound.

My cousin owns a popular steak house on the lower west side, and I'm sure I could organize a viewing in one of the party rooms if we knew enough people were going to be in town to come.

If not, I would be inclined to have coffee with even one forumite close to the show to show a Hawk or two.....my customers know me for that kind of committment to service.

Either way, I'm sure we can work something out.

..and BTW bcaffrey, if you ever want me to come into NYC to meet with you, just give me a ring. You are also welcome out here by appointment for some Hawk tossing fun in NJ!

Thanks for the great offer, Andy. I'll have to take you up on that Hawk tossing fun in NJ. I'm busy for the next few weeks at least but we can talk at the show & hopefully set something up.

Our pictures are plastered all over this forum, so please feel free to come up and identify yourself as a Hawkster!!! I will be happy to get you a cup of coffee and talk about throwing the Big Steel!!!!
