I think there's an Australian knife that started as a peaceful agricultural implement but then later a combat version was developed?

Oh...wait, no, that's the "Angry Koala"...never mind.

ROFL (and I don't do that often). Maybe Shop 2 could make you an Angry Koala Special, Jim.

Angry Koala?.....Angry Koala......OH!

You mean a Killer Koala, the much feared Drop-Bear of the Australian Outback.

I kid you not,..this is a favorite trick of mine (taught to me by my father). If we are taking someone out camping for the first time, on the first night out we sit around the campfire and tell them all these bush/ghost stories including the one about Drop-bears. Its unfortunate but true that most people who have never been out bush know so little about their own country that they can fall for this.

We tend follow this up with a well timed scream and paniced shouting - usualy when our "victim" has wandered off into the dark for a toilet break.

Never fails

Funny stuff, Andre. Make me want to come visit more and more. The many Aussies I met in Nepal all invited me down under and I'd sure like to go. If I live long enough I will.

I hope you get here one day Bill, its a great place.

If you do and you come to Canberra, stop by for a beer.

I don't know to many people around here that drink it. The most popular beers in my neck of the woods are 'Victoria Bitter', 'Carlton Draught' and 'Tooheys'. XXXX (Four-Ex) is popular in Queensland, but then a lot the Banana-benders do is incomprehensible to us Southeners.
