Angle for sharpening RATs?

What is the best angle to sharpen RATs??

I think I read 20 degrees somewhere?

Out of the box 20 degrees on both sides is correct. You can of course choose whatever angle that you like the best.

Correct, the angle from the factory is in the realm of 20* per side.

Jeff stated in another thread that they try to send off all the RC knives at a 20 degree (combined 40) angle from the factory.

Just bumped into this thread. Love my sharpmaker. So do you guys just use the 40 degree angle and thats it or do you use the 30 first and then the 40 to finish? My understanding it that you would use the 30 to "cut" the shoulder down with only a few swipes. Then use the 40 to profle the blade back to 20 degress.
