Angle grinder and bench grinder capabilities?

Hi all, first of all I had an account before but somehow lost the info on it lol. Second of all I was wondering what uses an angle grinder and bench grinder have in the world of knife making. I understand that a cutoff wheel can be used to make the general profile of a knife on an angle grinder but I was wondering what other uses it has. Also, what can a bench grinder be used for as its obviously not a good enough substitute for a belt grinder.

I use my angle grinder for cutting off lengths of flat or drill stock that I want to make a blade from, for forging clean-up, rough shaping, beveling the blade (I like the rounded sweeping plunge the disc leaves behind.) Sometimes, I'll use it for rough shaping the guard on hidden tangs. In my shop, it's the power tool that gets used the most. I'm not too fond of the stone wheel bench grinders, though. Maybe someone else will come in to comment on that.
