Finished up the grinder today.
Thought you might want to see the finished product.

This is the deluxe model which has the anodized wheels and knobs and the ANGLE PRO JIG.
The price of this package is $1800.00 + shipping

With plane wheels and knobs it would be $1,600.00 + shipping and $1,500 with out the jig + shipping

These are built one at a time and will be 4 to 6 weeks lead time.

These are all solid steel and are heavy.
They are not the prettiest grinders on the market but you can't beat the price with all the features they offer.

Is that VFD enclosed or sealed?

No these are not but I have been using for over a year with no problems. For sealed unit it would probably add $100. To $150.00.. this unit has fan that draws air in at bottom and blows out top. It is mounted far enough to left that keeps it out of the way of grinding dust.

What is the HP rating? 220 I assume? Looks like a nice rig.

They are 2 HP 220V single phase the VFD converts 220 single phase into 220 3 phase. The motor is 220 3 phase 3450 rpm. Current model has 5" drive wheel, but next ones may have 4" drive wheel customer choice. As the 5" wheel gives more speed than needed.

I can't afford both at Arkansas or Atlanta Blade shows but will be attending free delivery to these shows may be possible contact me for details.

not the prettiest you say. I think that's the best looking grinder I have seen.
it looks like it just wants to eat up some steel.

Do these come with the flat platten, 8" wheel, and the small wheel holder all for $1500?

Yes, except it's a 10" wheel. Everything you see in the photo except the purple anodized parts would be just plane aluminum.
I make these one at a time in my shop. I do all of the work myself with the exception of boring out the 10" wheel my lathe is too small for it. Even the anodizing is done in my shop.
I do not want to make a business out of this I only do a few a year when I have time.

Hey Jim, I am just curious how much this whole setup would weigh. I assume shipping to Canada would be prohibitive but I was curious. I imagine shipping will be hundreds

I need to weigh it. But is heavy and I try not to ship them. That being said I am currently trying
to work out a deal to send two them way up to the northern parts of Canada by having a relative of the buyer to take them.

For those of you on the fense about Jim and his equipment, let me put your concerns to rest. Jim is a total professional, that maintains constant contact through out his busy schedule. He will discuss all design characteristics to achieve the best fit, and delivers exactly what he says.

I will be doing more business in the near future with Jim.
