Angry, downright hostile serrations from Razor Edge

Man, that looks like some very outstanding work. Doesn't seem like it could have come from a factory with laser guided machines any better. Impressive work from REK. Hopefully he makes enough from his work that he keeps it up. Not many people out there you can trust to not just show amazing results but who can actually get your knife in and back without worrying about anything else. Even, well spaced, and functional serrations are freaking hard to do.

Absolutely impressive. These look like they came from the factory. I'm trying to figure out what i need for some of my knives just to give this man some business.

Thanks, Josh! @razor-edge-knives

I wanted to add serrations to the M390 blade for a more complete rescue knife and Josh hooked it up!

Just awesome!

But this is the first time I've heard of someone actually wanting serrations:rolleyes:.

I generally am not a serrations guy. I just had a vision of them to complete the rescue knife. I'd needed it on the M390 also to make the dream complete. @WadeWilson : Laughed heartily at your comment. I did ask Josh for aggressive serrations and the man delivered!

Was gonna start a thread asking for recommendations for someone who could put partial serrations on some knives that are not offered with them. Looks like don't have to as know who I'm going with. Those really do look extremely functional and cleanly done. I use serrations just as much if not more than plain edge so don't understand why many people scoff at them.

Not yet a full month old, so I guess I can revive this thread :)

Josh did some great serrations on two Spydercos for me as well, super work, see here: https://bladeforums.com/threads/custom-serrations.1651304.

Since then, I got a couple more serrated folders, but sharpening remained painful. So, I tried to use a ceramic honer - bought on ebay, made in China - and find it makes the job much easier: it fits the larger Spyderco style serrations perfectly. The honer has useful rough and smooth sides, hope you can see in the photo:
