If those boots are (most likely) waterproof, I'd call them the PERFECT boots for the northern Boreal forst. Looks like they have it all !:thumbup:

I have a pic of a wolf track with my hand next to it as a visual reference, I'll try to dig it up when I have time.
 
They weigh about the same as a pair of hi-top sneakers, geat suport for the ankles , water proof , great traction on mud, rocks ,leaves , down trees and snow , don't hold mud like most boots I've tried , Did I mention that they weigh next to nothing ?
( ;) I think that was the longest run-on sentence I've ever created )
I bought a pair , wore them one weekend hunting , and got a second pair on my way home :thumbup:

It's marked Western , good solid full tang , SS , cheap at a 'mart store 25 years ago . I liked the wood on it. :) \
A little slick for field dressing , but it worked well .

Nice pet bear you got there, I got one of my dog doin the same somewhere, don't they just love pullin them ropes !!!:D
