Can anyone tell me why I can't upload an animated .gif file for my sig line? So far, I've seen some other gold members with such. Any help would be appreciated.

It's the new standard setting since version 3.6; no animated gifs for sigs or avatars.
Anybody with such animated gifs uploaded them before the upgrade or (in the case if sigs) link to an external animated gif.
