Ankerson/Sanders Bowie?

Ankerson and Sanders, I want you to know, I think this is one Nice Blade, I look forward to owning one or two. As soon as I saw the Shot Show vids of it, I was like by far this is a Spyderco fixed blade I will have. I have never owned a Spyderco fixed blade but have had interest in a few, but this one is a must have. I have two high priority knives on my to get list and both are Spyderco's.

Thanks,

I believe you will enjoy it very much and get a lot of use out of it.

Thanks for the kind words and I hope it serves you well.

Without the belly on the edge curving up to the spine it would be a large Seax.

Yeah, very Seax like!

Not to change the subject, but so much for no more $ on knives, went to the gunshow today and made the mistake of handing a Manix XL....this Bowie will be the same, who am I kidding....

Jim and Darrin This looks like a Home run. I spoke with Darrin a while back about a very similar knife. Little did I know you gents already had the Ankerson/Sanders Bowie in the works. I will purchase one. I appreciate what my Bradley Bowie has to offer but this knife will fill another layer. A shout out should go out to Sal and Erick at Sypderco for their collaboration as well in this very well thought out knife. I like the looks of the Butt/Pommel area of the knife, but if I could ask for one consideration in the final production knife it would be to make sure the butt is not too pointed. At times it is useful to use the palm of the opposite hand on the butt to assist in a heavy thrust cut to separate bone or other material. Thanks again to all involved.
