I got 40' of 1084 flat bar-hot rolled as rolled [not annealed]
So I cut 3-4 pc 18" wrapped in foil and put in oven.
Now, I set temp @ 1500 and I thought I set time @ 10 min, I have not rechecked the time,I checked them once and temp was 1100, so went on about my rat killin,And forgot about them.
Yep, I forgot about them. About 4 hrs later, I checked to see if oven had turned off, It had not, It was holding right on 1500 for about 3-1/2 hrs. Just wondering what damage was done

Since they were foil wrapped, you should not have any problems. Grain growth is more temp than time, and 1500° is not excessive. And even if you had grain growth, you can reduce that back with normalizing later.
