I'm sure the Chopweiler will hit harder, but the Ratweiler may bite deeper. One winning feature of the Chopweiler for me is the handle shape, which seems to be designed to allow you to hold onto just the rear end of the handle, and maximize the forward weight for chopping.
That's exactly how I feel when using mine. The swell at the end of that handle rolls nicely in my hand. Very well designed.
