If someone was wanting to use say titanium or aluminium for knife handles and wanted to bead blast them and also annodize them, which would you do first?? Thanks! Michael

Bead Blast of course, anodization on titanium is only 1/1,000,000th of an inch thick so its not really that hard to remove, although it is wear resistant...

Hard thing to beleive is that Ti anodization is clear, its just a layer of oxidation that reflects a certain color from visible light.

Aluminum anodization is thicker due to it being a etch and dye type meathod but still you need the final finish before you anodize..

Alan...

i know a lot of guys who have stopped anodizing cause it scratches so easily... and it looks WAY better if you mirror polish the surface before anondize...rather than bead blast....just for your information.
