Hello everyone, just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about some changes coming to Frazier Knives. But, before I start, let me state that this is not a sales thread and if it looks like it’s starting to head in that direction, we’ll have to lock the thread down.
Back around 1995 I met a guy at work who unbeknown to me, was fairly famous in the knife-making world. I’d always had an interest in knives and knife making, and he was kind enough to take me in his shop two summer’s running for short periods to help me get started.
One of the things I noticed was that he made both high end art knives, and a basic everyday user type of knife. Somewhere around 80% of the knives he made cost less than $100. These knives were very basic, no bells and whistles, no bolsters, no liners, just a good basic daily user. I am no artist, lol, but I do subscribe to the idea that every knife should be made to the full potential of the steel and its intended use.
With this thought in mind, Frazier Knives will now be offering a line of knives called,The $100 Knife Shop, by Frazier Knives.
My shop is fully equipped, nothing has to be sent out, everything is done in-house. I subscribe to and practice heat treating and tempering as recommended by Dr. Larrin Thomas.
Thanks for listening, if you have any questions, feel free to ask and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. But please, no questions regarding sales.
