After a "lot" of RESEARCH,CAME UP WITH THIS,1)HI BEST SELLER IS 15"AK 2)#2 BEST SELLER IS 15"BAS,3)#3 BEST SELLER IS 16"WW2.
SO, HOW ABOUT A 15"YCS,WITH A RIG WITH NO SMALL KNIFE OR BURNISHER!THE HANDLE WOULD REMAIN THE SAME WITH OR WITHOUT INLAYS(I WOULD WANT THEM)!THIS K IS MADE TO TAKE ANYWHERE!WRONGFRIEND,I THINK IT WOULD BE IDEAL FOR US M/A'S. QUICK & FAST!AT THE SAME TIME ,JUST RIGHT FOR OTHERS FOR THEIR TRUCK OR CAR,"NOT TO BIG,NOT TO SMALL!THE KAMI'S NEED NO MODEL, JUST DOWNSIZE(I HATE "THAT" WORD)THE LARGER YCS. THEY DO IT FOR THE AK ,SO WHY NOT THE YCS?? WELL,NDN, KOZ,BLUES,RUS,GUYS & GIRLS,WHAT CHA THINK!
jim

:
Tsimi with a YCS @ 15" it could go less than a pound!!!
I prefer the 17" length it was designed at, but that's just me as I have researched my prefered lengths
to be between 16" & 19" OAL.
smile.gif

These seem to me to be the best compromise between weight and length, not too heavy or too short or too long.
smile.gif

But if you want a YCS @ 15" you have my blessings.

NDN,
WILL RECIEVE MY YCS BY DURBA THIS WEEK OR NEXT! "YES,""YES"! Believe it or not was kicking myself for letting this get by me!!
looks bigger than 17"! Wanted a Durba ycs, & "LOOK" WHAT I'M GETTING! I "MUST" BE LIVING RIGHT,MUST BE "PURE"THOUGHTS,CLEAN LIVING & BEING MODEST!
jim

NDN,
HUMMMM! YOU "REALLY WANT A 22"YCS??
WOULD MORE MEMBERS WANT A 22"THAN A BAS SIZE
YCS?? QUESTION?? WHY???
jim

Why would we want a bigger YCS? Simple bigger is better. The way that it is balanced it would be a wicked tool. besides that I love big knives

MATT,
YOU MUST HAVE SOME REALLY "BIG" TREES THAT "NEED" DISTROYING! Magic is"you like "Big"K'S! I CAN A APPRECIATE THAT!
SO THAT'S 2 FOR A 22"(NDN IS FIRST,RATHER GET YOU ANGRY THAN "HIM")!Guess noone else likes "fast, classy & small"!
jim

:
Tsimi I am happy with the YCS as it is.
To me the 17"-18" oal khuk is the best size for all around
use.
I just figured that if you was going to get a 22" that Uncle Bill could send it to me 1st so I could *research* it, but that's really not necessary.
smile.gif

Actually for some real *research* it would be best sent to one of the younger more agile members of the forum that lives around some woods, or you could go visit Ray and try it out on some of the critters that lives in the water behind Ray's house.
smile.gif

But Tsimi whatever different size you would like to have is okay with me.
I have what I like.

NDN,
GLAD TO SEE YOU'VE "QUIT" THAT FALSE HIKV
"CULT"!I have plenty of critters to use here thank you, some of them are real varments!
JIM

Research,eh? Boy I knew Jimmy was hurtn' I just didn't know how bad! A truly sad state of affairs to see a grown man and a friend come to something like this! Begging!

Next thing you know he'll be out on street corners with a tin pan (at least big enough to fit a khukri), sunglasses and overcoat asking for "donations". NOT a pretty picture is it!

It's very sad to see a buddy like this.

So I propose the "Jimmy Clifton Make a Wish Foundation" to see him through these tough times and get him the help he so badly needs!

Well, Uncle, for him the rest of us are the delusional ones and the ones with HIKV.

But, we all know the "truth" of the matter, don't we?
wink.gif

Why just earlier this evening he calls me up asking for "donations"! We might just have to take drastic steps to save him.

Something like a non-stop film loop of the kami's at work or a Ghurka documentary might do the trick, for the moment.

But, alas, I fear the worst, yes...full blown HIKV!!!
eek.gif

So we must seek help for our friend!
