Thanks everyone! :) We're back, worn out, but back in good, well, with our health. We're used to eating at home all the time so all that road food hasn't been kind to the stomachs.

The funeral was really nice, I got to reacquaint myself with a few long lost family members and rekindle some old family relationships.

My grandmother is resting peacefully now, and for that I am greatly relieved. She is with my grandfather and father once again, and for that I am happy.
 
Good to hear you're OK. I know you said she was old and suffering and you're glad she's resting now, but... I dunno, would've been kind of weird and tactless agreeing with that. :foot: Still sorry for your loss, but glad you're in good spirits
 
Dwayne, you don't know me but I've seen some of your sheaths on here and they are just amazing, haves to gets me one......anyway, it's good to see that you and your family have made it back safely. Prayers for your family's loss.

Thank you wolfdad and Hammy, this one didn't hit me as hard as my father did. My grandmother had been hanging on for far too long, it was time. My father though took us all by surprise.

No worries my friend, you can agree with me anytime, I dont mind at all! :D ;) I do feel a huge gap in my life right now, but at the same time relieved that I dont have to constantly worry about her. Guess that is what they mean by mixed feelings.
