You would have had me at M4. But those scales do look incredible!
Preach!"Limited Edition", same vanilla steel as the original.

I like it and these should be dropping soon.
Not a fan. At all. That handle is fugly.
250 bucks for this knife is kind of unacceptable. $267 for the 950-1801 Rift is also not acceptable.
Take a key from ZT and Spyderco, offer an upgraded blade steel. These are going to be bought by collectors and the occasional random new purchaser but a lot of people are going to get on the lists if this is their thing and just a camo finish on the scale isnt super exciting.
Just to add a bit, so it doesnt seem like Im simply whining about the price, because Im not. The Presidio II has S30V. This LE model has S30V. I think it would be cool to make these in M390 like the 484 or since it has a black finish use M4. Both Benchmade uses and both are desired if for no other reason than they are good and different as well as something new for people that like to collect knives. Just adding a camo pattern (with butterfiles) doesnt seem to justify the $250 cost.
Off the topic the 950-1801 has a sweet blue / black handle. Ill probably buy this simply because I really like the Rift and the black / blue handle looks great. Its got a sidegrade with S30V. 154CM isnt a modern fancy steel but its excellent. I think it would be cool to use CPM 154, its another side grade but its the powder 154CM which Benchmade should start using. The black coating on the knife would be great for M4. Im not complaining about steel, these are all good steels but its a forum so those are some thoughts.
