Yeah what’s up with the limited edition with the same blade steel?
I absolutely LOVE my Presidio II And I have no real reason to get another unless it was CPM-M4.
hoping for M4
A knife like Presidio is begging for a hard use steel.
"Limited Edition", same vanilla steel as the original.
*yawn*
Preach!
mini in M4...
And yes, M4
wouldn’t have to be M4. Could have been 20cv or s90v. Anything different and I’d be in
M4...
had M4 steel”
Benchmade
Do you see what your fans are calling for?
I have been saying that I won't buy another Benchmade unless it is in M4 (and preferably a 710), but I am not the only one that wants more in this alloy.
You offer it in the custom knife maker, with a Very small monetary increase (when going from S30V). If this is accurate, an M4 knife wouldn't cost much more, but would bring in a lot of knife knuts...
Pay attention to your target audience...
Now that the patent on the Axis has expired, and other brands and custom makers can use it, you will have to do something other than keeping the same old reliable lock keeping folks "locked in"...
The only two knives that I see offered are the Barrage and Grip (full size and mini alike) and they are all offered in M4.M4 is NOT available for all custom knives. I think 1 or 2 don’t offer it.
Admittedly I bought the auto Presidio 2 Mini in s30v because I love the design. The large and small are perfect in my hand and I won’t buy another (special edition or otherwise) unless in M4.
My preference would be and automatic mini in M4, but I would also buy a full size manual if offered in that steel

Edited, see above. The crooked river is on there as well. No M4

Alright guys. Duly noted.
Most places ,that won’t be legal to carry because the blade is over 3.5 inches. Another miss that got green lighted. Why produce what most can’t carry? Benchmade knows better. I’m starting to question staff and who’s called the shots there at Benchmade. May be time for a stir up and overhaul. To many meh knives have been green lighted the last couple years and leaves one to question the staff and I’m not the only one saying this. Forums and reviewers are shouting the same song I am. I’m calling it complacency.
They wouldn't make large knives if people weren't able to buy (and carry) them. There is plenty of demand for a knife of this size. Most places ,that won’t be legal to carry because the blade is over 3.5 inches. Another miss that got green lighted. Someone hasnt handled a Mini Crooked River. Or seen the massive love for the bugout.I’m going to be real here. Everything plays second fiddle to 940’s and Grips with BM. BM isn’t finding their next mega hit like those two. Little buzz around anything new BM does But the two classics are timeless and you milk those to death like the 940 has been with good reason. It’s awesome and the knife world knows it.
