Announcing the NEW 3400 Autocrat!

Sorry to drag this to the surface after six months, but I had a minor issue with the FDE/Black blade Autocrat I picked up a while back (at a very favorable price). One time, and only once, the blade “jammed” in the mechanism. I did the normal re-set, it worked for two more deployments, and them it locked up solid- frozen mechanism. I carefully disassembled the piece, and found one of the gate springs (bottom gate) had somehow departed the gate and Ended up sideways. Reassembled, closed it up, and it has worked perfectly ever since. Those springs are very, very tiny. The fit and finish of the internal parts/scale interiors was excellent. A lot of machining goes into these. Except for that bobble, the blade has performed very well and the DLC black finish has held up extremely well.

I like it well enough that I picked up a second one (black/satin) at street price.
