• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

annoying problem with the Gigand knife by Fred Carter?

Try putting some low strength loc-tite around the screw. Careful though, you might mess up the smoothness a little if you screw up.

Which Gigand knife though? Most people have complained about the screws loosening with the Spectrums. I have a Titan w/ Ti scales and a Tornado with no looseness to the screws (and it's been more than a year of use for both).

What I like about the Gigands is that they are inexpensive, non-threatening, fairly high quality knives -- especially the Titan.

Thanx for the info. I own the Spectrum LT and it performs well except of course the screw pin coming out. I lost one screw during work. I sent it back to get a new knife and i'll try the method's that were mentioned in the forum.

Good luck with the return. I recall Cougar breaking the handle on his Mosquito (his now infamous "sit" test) and not getting a replacement...
