Annual request to Buck people

I would like to see a Buck designed sharpening system based on the clamp Lansky system that would match the standard Edge 2000 blade angles. I could see a much more user friendly clamp that wouldn't skuff the blade, tighten down easier, hold the blade tighter without it getting loose and hones that would match the steels. The angle holes be smaller and tighter tolerance.

I could go on, but you get the picture.

I dont think that will work either Mav. :D
We will just have to keep wishing!

I get the picture!!! I like it too!! That would be nice! I love my lansky but it does leave a little to be desired! Pack rat, you should start on that design right away, Sounds to me like a hot seller!

I am with you Pack Rat. one that would fit the vanguard better,
and the drop point knives would be nice.
I put a little note in the post with your deer pic.

No 110 Damascus yet. Heck, I don't even remember if I got FG Dave. I heard around mid-Sep that the knife was in the works.

Wrote the other day to Buck letting them know that while I have not received that one, I wanted to order a BG-42. Radio silence.

BTW, Too funny on the long john gig Dave. Funnier that ya suckered me into looking ;)

Ya he got me with that also........I think I'll start calling him "Trap door Dave" as I'm sure those long johns have a trap door :p .

The majority of the above knives are either out in the market now or can be created with a little help from Joe, Leroy or Wilde Bill Cody. I'm surprised you guys don't like the challenge of the hunt. That is what collecting is all about!

Hunting is always better when there is some success! I've been looking for that maroon drop point 426 for longer than I can remember. :o
