I noticed in the sticky that Hinderer offers Anodizing on knives and pens. Is this only on new knives purchased directly form Hinderer, or could we send in our XM's and have them ano'd?

Are the bronze and blue anodized frames rare? I have only seen a handful. Thanks guys.

02/21/12 - Due to our current workload we are not accepting refurb work at this time. I will update this thread when that changes. This is just refurbs, our sharpening service is not effected.

So that means they are not doing any anodizing right now. I think the only way is if you won the lottery and got to pick one that had that on there already.

They will open it up again (someday) Yes, I would say the ano frames are indeed rare. You didn't mention it but you probably already know you can score ano clips, stand offs and scales. You end up with a two tone effect but you have that now and even when/if you ano the frame there is still the blade and hardware for two tone.

Sweet thanks for the reply. I have a gen 4 so no Titanium scales for me:p I would love to get an anodized pocket clip and filler tab as well as standoffs but everyone is currently out. I will be waiting patiently
