:DI don't care about the number, I will take everything you have in the saber ground with this setup. That means from 1-12 and up to an including 100 =) I don't know if I could afford any more than that since I need to get some of each in the flat ground ones.:D

A large choil Boss Street? :D

These new Boss Streets sound freakin sweet!

Awesome! For this style of slicing knife flat ground makes way more sense than saber. For a much taller, hard use knife like the SFNO saber is better.

Honestly the saber was my only reservation. Now that it's flat I'm all in.

Following that there will probably be the Anorexic BOSS Jacks. :D  :p
∞

I hope so!!!

I started asking for those when they first came out. Held off the first thinking a .187 will come. They will:thumbup:

BTW- I also started whining about the Anoresic Boss Streets when the first Boss Streets came out. Held off on those since I thought these skinnys would be along soon.

I don't like taking credit and all, so I think I'll PM Guyon to start a Death Chat for the ABJ's:p

Hey Jerry,

Hows about another "Ganzaaaa style offer for those who want to shoot for a lower serial number".

That seemed to work out rather well for me last time with the KZII LE.... :D

Thanx!

What a way to end the week - Thanks Boss - You Always Rock it!:D

Put a big Azz Grin on my snout ;)

The Saber would be a cool option to offer as well

Thank you, thank you, thank you !!!!
Tonight I will drink some of my 1983 Jack Daniels...it's smooth !:p

So what's the commission on a great suggestion like that? :D:D

Didn't you calculate that bevel angles of a sabre grind vs a flat grind were only different by ~ 2*? If that is true, I doubt anyone could tell the difference in practice. More critical to slicing ability will the thickness just behind the edge bevel.

The switch from sabre to flat grind will have a great effect on how the knife feels in the hand; where it's balance point is. Many folk feel that a field/utility/woodcraft/hunting knife like this should be a little handle heavy, they say you should be able to open your hand while holding your knife and it should just lay in the palm of your hand. Flat grind will favor this.

Great style and great choices .... not wanting to ask too much ... but on thin slicers like these it would be great to have some Infi at Rc 61-62 .... just to maximise the design and intended "use" of the blade ....:confused:

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Of course, this would come out right after I put cash down on a BAD!!!!!

Guess I won't be getting that Medium sized infi right now. I think I will soon have three small ones and two big ones and no middle of the road (Soon to be Choiless Anorexic Boss Street, GW, BAD, B11 and KZII).
