It's a Bowie blade but with a Ti polished liked scales and blue hardware.
Apologies if it has already been posted

Another pretty ZT/Hinderer limited run collab? Presumably it's just as expensive as a normal Hinderer bowie?

that looks like it got a blade swap, the blade is identical to the blu bowie, i haven't seen another bowie LE, the black one that's released tomorrow is the last 0392 LE

Last ever? maybe... I think it's been too successful so maybe a harpoon or tanto might come along. Ok by me if they do, I have 2 now, ordering tomorrow and trying to track down the others at reasonable prices.

This one was on a foreign knife dealer's website but has been since removed. Those strong with Google will be able to find the pic.

Here's a chronological list of all 9 folders in the 0392 series including blade steel:

Hinderer Eklipse Bowie with G-10 is $425-$450 and a Hinderer titanium scale is another $200 for a total of $625-$650.

Most of the ZT 0392 were $400 and that includes better steel (M390/204P vs. S35VN).

So exciting.

Edit: that is my first ever emoji used on this forum. A groundbreaking moment. I will not make a habit out of it, though!

RamZar should know the answer

^ Should know?

RZ, is the ZT Master! :cocksure:

^ And there you go!

In just a few years, most of the 0392 models will disappear from the sales threads on the forums and they will be harder to find. It's amazing how knives disappear into the abyss as time goes on.

So where will they go? I mean it will not be that people use them to the point such that they are no longer usable and hence being disposed. Or will people keep them in their safes and do not plan to sell whatsoever?

From my estimate, it's that they get tucked into drawers and forgotten about, or the owners drop out of the knife hobby and stop participating in forums, and other social media platforms. When that occurs, the knives are no longer part of the active market.

Interesting but I would be really surprised if that turns out to be the case. We are talking about a model worth $400 or more not some $20 kershaws. Have we ever seen something like that with old but expensive models of any brands? Yes it is a limited edition but in total I think there are several thousand zt0392 sold.

I think it's mostly just a matter of the Knives finding their way to owners who don't want to sell them again. Once they stop coming into the market more and more of them will find their way to owners who keep them, leading to less of them on the secondary market. I just now got the original 0392, and it'll never be seen up for sale again. 😁

Yes. There are many models of knives in that price range that are more difficult to find these days. The Kershaw Tilt, ZT 0600, Umnumzaan with the older large pivot.. etc. Within Chris Reeve Knives alone, how often do you see knives from the 1990s for sale? Based on the number of knives CRK has made, they should be flooding the market with models dating back to the 90s. The total number of 0392 models made, including all variants, is quite small even with the span of a decade.
