Now up to 48,216, for you numerologists a somewhat sinister 666 in under five days. If, and that is a big if, the more than 100 posts per day continue, we should make it about mid-month this July.

POST 16773 in the active forum ( click on makers/manufacturers and go down the list of forums there to HI - it'll list the posts in the oactive one to date ) plus the 33+K in the 2 HI Archives ( or thereabouts ) should do it.

We started on 6/24/01 at 3PM PST ( ZULU -8 ) needing needing 2548 more to hit the 50,000 post mark for the HI Forum.

At 7/2/01 about 10PM PST ( a week and a day, close enough ) we'd added over 1,400 more. 1, 117 more posts to go.

If you want to follow the count, click on Makers/Manufacturers just under the changing advertisement at the top of the page, and scroll down to the HI listing.

The magic number for 50,OOO posts is #16,773. ( Don't forget we already had over 33,000 posts in the archives. )
